Wendy produced these drawings in lockdown 2020 and they form part of the 'Artologie' collection of bespoke prints, drawings, stationery and jewellery produced and inspired for Cuckfield.
'The Tree in Ockenden Field' is an illustration of the single oak in the centre of the field behind the gallery in Cuckfield. Perfectly silhouetted with much space all round it is a distinctive tree to all those who walk that way towards or from Cuckfield Park, The Holy Trinity Church or in the beautiful New England Woods. Wendy chose to draw this as felt that it is such a wonderful shape and marker on the local landscape.
It is printed on quality off-white paper and embossed with the unique 'Artologie, Cuckfield stamp. These prints are designed so the the prints / trees line up when hung in sequence.
