Grant Dejonge's Portrait Exhibition

Local landscape painter, Grant Dejonge, took on the challenge of creating 100 self portraits in 100 days for his latest exhibition, entitled ‘100 Days of Sod’em’, which was held at Artologie in late August - early September. Grant has been a long standing contributing artist to Artologie, his newest landscape paintings are often on show in the gallery so it was exciting to see his portraiture.

He explored the styles of Cubism, Fauvism, Surrealism, Minimalism and Futurism and used a variety of methods including painting, photography, drawing and collage to create a diverse body of work.

Following the success of the private view, the exhibition received compliments and support from the locals of Cuckfield Village while on show from the 23rd of August to the 6th of September.

It was a pleasure to exhibit Grant’s work and we are looking forward to hosting another exhibition later this month for award winning photographer, Noel Clegg!
